New Moon In Pisces 2023 | The Call To Heal
The New Moon in Pisces crosses our pathway on February 19th, 2023, creating the space for you to heal and release karmic baggage from your ancestral lineage.
As you walk this path, you may find that the past comes flooding back to you. Generational curses come to the surface as you reflect on your family's trauma and how you have chosen to either follow the same pattern or break the cycle.
This New Moon creates a portal of opportunity for you to heal and release this ancestral trauma. You have the power to forge a new path for your ancestors and the future generations to come, but you need to be willing to take the leap.
You are always healing, but you are the one who chooses whether to break ancestral karma or not.
The universe hands you the opportunity to dig deeper, to go directly to the roots of where you come from, and to carve out your pain and trauma in a new light. You are given a new perspective and a fresh set of eyes for which to shed light upon your wounding.
Trauma can be carried in the bloodline for up to three generations and generational patterns will continue to repeat themselves until someone in your lineage decides to break them. If you are the black sheep of your family or feel called to step up to the plate and heal yourself, know that you are not only healing yourself but also all of your ancestor's karmic baggage.
Under the influence of Pisces, these generational patterns may include poverty, drug addiction, alcoholism, or seeing one of your parents have a spouse that ultimately drained all of their life-force energy away, leaving them pruned and dried up like a raisin. You can see this happen in the case of abusive relationships.
During this period, you may feel called to receive a reiki healing, find a holistic therapist you resonate with, or buy medicinal herbal blends to heal your physical body. Pisces rules the unseen realms so it is wise to invest in a spiritual practitioner you trust to help guide your way, especially if you are experiencing any emotional blockages.

Pisces reminds us to be in flow as it is a mutable sign that's always in flux and governs our oceans. If you avoid your own healing and do not face your own subconscious, Pisces waters can run into the depths of trenches that lead to a deep, painful depression. There are several Pisces I know who have avoided their pain for pleasure and have drowned in the depths of their depression because of it.
Healing is not linear. You will not heal your ancestral baggage overnight or through only one reiki healing session. It takes time, it takes effort, and it takes intention.
You are led back to your heart over and over again. You will crack, break open, and eventually break free so that you can strengthen your physical vessel.
This Pisces New Moon is a reminder to lean into the dream. Let your creativity run wild as your intuition roars. Do activities that will reignite your passion and lust for life, such as singing, painting, dancing, and connecting with your sexuality.
