Full Moon In Virgo 2023 | The Purge

The Full Moon in Virgo illuminates you today with the opportunity to purge out impurities. Virgo rules the virgin and perfection, meaning that Virgo energy is purifying by nature. 

This Full Moon is making a difficult T square to the Sun in Pisces and Mars in Gemini. The process of purification isn't always pretty, you may face the loss of people and situations that are no longer for you. 

With Saturn moving into Pisces at the same time as this Full Moon, it is easier to cut through all illusions that are blocking you from seeing the truth of the situation. 

This clarity may come to you in your dreams.

You are being asked to fine-tune your environment and your lifestyle, as well as to think about the long-term consequences of the choices that affect your health, such as eating inflammatory foods or being too sedentary. 

Mars in Gemini is at the center of this Full Moon, prompting difficult conversations to come up, and forcing you out of your bubble. They will arise to life and bring you the clarity you've long been waiting for.

By internalizing and not respecting your own anger, you will eventually blow up and bubble over. When blowing up on others repeatedly, you ruin your relationship with them by destroying any safety and trust that has been cultivated. 

When you begin to set boundaries around the internalization or externalization of your anger, you actualize yourself as someone who is deserving of respect. 

This is part of what contributes to Virgo's perfected energy: they teach Pisces how to have boundaries.

The process of purging is usually unpredictable. It may be a long, heavy process that involves releasing the years of grief you've stored in your body or it may come to your surprise to be as simple as changing your perspective and seeing the miracles that unfold for you once you do.

Be mindful of feeling obligated and tied down to your environment, roommates, or workplace. The gut is ruled by Virgo and if your gut is telling you it's time to leave, you better listen the first time and make a plan for your final exit.

When there is a nudge to leave a situation that has been restricting you, trust yourself the first time. 

You do not need to exit right then and there, but by simply acknowledging and listening to your truth, you have already begun your purge. 

You will begin to receive ideas, insights, and inspiration for what to do and who to ask to help you leave the situation. People, situations, and signs will come out of nowhere to help you and guide you.

If your workplace environment is soaking up your energy dry or your boss is someone who bullies you, by simply acknowledging you desire to leave that draining environment, you will know exactly how much money you need to save up to leave your job. You will begin to find job postings and attract people who help you out with your career, and the new one will find you like magick.

If you are struggling with a drunken roommate who comes home at 3 am making a ruckus and never lets you sleep, by acknowledging they are disrespecting your space, you will know exactly how to kick out your toxic roommate. You may find that the landlord suddenly compromises with you or you find a legal loophole that will come to you like magick.

If you're dealing with health issues from the result of eating unhealthy foods all your life, by simply acknowledging you need to change, you will know exactly what foods you need to stop eating that trigger inflammation. You will begin to find inspiration and information for a healthier lifestyle like magick. 

These are all examples of purges, they seem external most of the time but they are internal and actualize externally until you stop giving away your power and identity away to these situations.

Express yourself where you see fit, be willing to look yourself in the eye and speak your truth, and watch how much easier the purging process goes for you. 

This is what will bring you back to the state of flow, instead of stagnancy. 

Virgo is the moving, mutable Earth. The dandelions that flow in the wind, sprouting their seeds. The pollen that takes flight, fertilizing the flowers.

It is time for movement and change.
