New Moon In Capricorn 2022 | Your Vision

When we typically think of Capricorn energy, we think of hustling and grinding, but we must not forget that beyond these capitalistic definitions of Capricorns, they are a universal sign. They are ambitious, worldly, and always are looking towards the future.

Capricorns not only see the future of all of their choices, but they are actively curating and cultivating the future they desire. Capricorns don't beat around the bush when it comes to their desires. They know exactly what they want out of life and how they're going to get it.

This Capricorn New Moon is asking you to get clear about your future. With a square to Jupiter in Aries, you're being asked to take a step back from letting life happen to you and take back control of your life.

Stop making impulsive choices without having a clear vision for what you desire. Cultivate an identity for your specific desires. Your desires are already yours, you just have to claim them.

You're being asked to be specific. A Capricorn will know exactly how much money they need to live their dream life and take all expenses into account. That's the level of specific you need to be on to actively pursue your dreams.

When your dreams have a structure, that's called your vision.

This New Moon is also hugging Venus in Capricorn. If you desire a life partner or a family, it's okay to be specific about how you're dating to marry.

Your life partner and you need the same vision for your lives to cultivate a life long relationship. If there is no vision, the relationship lacks direction and structure.

Have you ever noticed how relationships without the same vision always end up breaking up? This is exactly why it's so important for you to have an active relationship with your dreams. The relationship you have with you actively pursuing your dreams is your vision.

You need to feed your desire for commitment. What or who is it that you want to commit yourself to?

With this New Moon conjunct Mercury Retrograde, I've been noticing a lot of patterns around people deprogramming their parent's expectations of them.

There's fear around finding your own career path connected to your life purpose outside of what your parents tell you to do. When your life purpose is intertwined with your career, it brings you a higher sense of purpose.

My holistic coaching client with a Capricorn stellium expressed to me that their parent’s have high expectations of them and how this was triggering their fear of failure.

As we worked through this together, they realized how their fear of failure comes from going into a job that doesn’t align with their life purpose.

Then I noticed another one of my clients mentioned how their parents don’t support them changing their career. Their parents were constantly projecting the limiting belief that they were going to fail.

If you were raised with parents who hold high expectations for you and projected their limiting beliefs onto you, then you may feel lost and like your future is already predetermined by them. 

Your parents will shove their limiting beliefs down your throat all your life. It is up to you to find out what brings you purpose and passion.

You may feel like the worst will happen, that their limiting beliefs will come true, but these weren’t even your thoughts to begin with. These thoughts stem from generational control.

Somewhere in your familial lineage, someone internalized this because society inserted this limiting belief into them. That if they didn’t follow all orders from those deemed the authority into absolute obedience and submission, that they would fail. They they would be useless, nobodies. Your parents had dreams, and someone or something institutionalized beat them out of them. 

Today, more than ever, you have the freedom to break society’s rules. 

You don’t have to follow the status quo. You don’t have to listen to your parent’s limiting beliefs. Choose to deprogram their beliefs so that you can be mentally free from their expectations.

Take the time to put intention and energy towards crafting your vision board for 2023. Get clear on what your dreams and desires are. Desire is the life force that drives us forward.

I always say: Desire is the life force that drives us forward.

Think about the things you desire. List 10 things you want from 2023. 

Money? How much? Write a check from the universe as to how much you will receive in 2023. It can be as big as you want because nothing is impossible for you.

A committed relationship that leads to marriage? What's your new boundary when dating? Ex. saying you're only dating to marry. This is an Eastern dating practice that helps you weed out people who will waste your time. 

More traveling? How will you make a travel savings plan? Get real specific. Saving $100 a week or a month?

Find images and affirmations that validate the things you're calling in. Put these images on a Pinterest board. Print them out and paste them onto a physical vision board.
